Mac OS 10.9 Mavericks [Developer Preview] NEW FEATURES

Here are some of around 200 new features from the latest developer preview (DP) version of MAC OS 10.9 Mavericks:

Battery indicator:
Notifications about apps’ battery consumption

Or this status: 

Mail:

Preferences->Check for new messages: Automatically

 

Notes:

UI changed (the colour is calmer/less tension on eyes)

Safari 7.0:

UI changed, enhanced smoothness in scrolling (i.e. less choppiness than latest version on ML 10.8.4)

Accessibility:

Add “Captions” for hearing impaired people

Add "Switch Control" allows the computer to use 1 or more switches (keyboard, gamepad buttons or dedicated devices)

System Preferences:

Add "App Store" (automatically check for updates, automatically download apps purchased on other Macs)

Notifications:

Add “Do Not Disturb" (similar function to iOS6)

Launch Pad:

“Illuminating star effect” new animation/effect for newly installed apps
